"IS THIS WORKSHOP GOOD FOR ME?"

YES, if you already paint with oils and you:

  • would like to start or continue painting en plein air

  • feel overwhelmed when painting outdoors with a group

  • would like to have a step-by-step system that works

  • Want to start painting larger size landscapes

"WHAT WILL WE LEARN?"

An efficient approach to any landscape, working outdoors and then in the studio, with predictably good results at the end.

You will learn how to get the best from your outdoor sessions.

Your painting process will become scalable. Starting with sketching and color study, you will complete 16" x 20" painting at the end of Day 2.

“WHAT WILL WE WORK ON?”

You will work on landscape scenery in 4 steps that will result in your 16” x 20” master painting by the end of the workshop.

Why steps? They keep your work organized and help you stop for self-evaluation. Each step drawing/painting becomes your reference for the next step and has its precise goals. Four Steps student of the landscape painting process: 1. Sketch, 2. Color Study, 3. Final Composition, 4. Master Painting.

Zufar will surprise you! You will work on self-evaluation of your artwork too.

The secret of excellence in painting is considering your artwork not only as a result of your efforts today but as a document that gives you an idea of where you are today. You will work on finding out what you need to improve.

Realizing problems lead to progress, progress leads to satisfaction!

Zufar created this approach that he uses in his work, based on 30 yrs of his experience of oil painting and over 10 yrs of teaching.
